Some of you may remember our memorable visit to Dietrich, Idaho on a trip out West.
Well, on our way to Chicago via Rock Isaland, Illinois we saw a sign for NORA SPRINGS!
We exited to see how far out of the way it would be to swing through, and it was only three miles off the freeway, so we couldn't resist.
I would bet money that there are towns named Emily and Anna that we will run into at some point, but I'm not so sure about Charis. Half of me wants to just happen upon these places, the other half of me wants to see where they're at and undertake a quest.

Oh, that's so fun! I love the one of her going down the slide. :) I googled Emily and Anna. I won't tell you.
I looked at Charis too.
Interesting.
Don't look. I dare you.
Didn't know you were traveling.... sounds fun. I've been to one of your 'daughter cities'. Won't say where we were. I Googled the others, too. Fun!
you will not happen upon this one on a road trip, that's certain...

Ha, Jenna!
No, nor is it likely I would go questing there!
Yes, Mom, we're in Chicago for the week. I think I told Dad.
OK, I'm dying to look for those cities. But I'm not ready to give up on the pure thrill of running across them yet.
I knew it. I think you should not look.
I won't tell.
But I KNOW.
;)
I'm looking them up.
Ha!
OK, I didn't really look them up.
Don't do it. It would be more fun to happen upon them.
I love ALL the photos. They just keep going and going and going. I see you spent a lot of time in Nora Springs...or a lot of hops in and out of the car!
Or ....
Nora springs is pretty small and well-signed!!!
:-)
We had lunch there and the kids and I walked a few blocks while Charis ate.
Yes...little signs like to "well sign" themselves.
...or should I say "little TOWNS"
