But no.
It was Anna.
She stapled her finger at the YMCA this morning and then passed out and hit her head on the chair, from whence it slid to the floor.
She passed all the "How many fingers am I holding up?" "How old are you?" "What's the square root of 289?" type questions, but she was still nauseous and vomiting a couple hours later so we took her in and they did a CAT scan.
Everything normal. No fractures. No bleeding. No secret alien implants.
Thank God she's all right, and thank God it happened now because my insurance is changing in a couple weeks and I would have had to pay towards a deductible and work through an HMO (which I've never had to do before, believe it or not).

I thought I saw Anna roll my room today in the ER..(JK). I called Anna and compared hospital stories with her today. So glad she is alright. (I'm fine, too - just in for IVs). Praying for you.
I'm so sorry, Anna! Yikes. We're thanking God that you are ok. Sorry about the HMO move, Jon. We've been there, too.
Sorry to hear about sweet Anna and the HMO, Yuck!
Those darn staplers.
I'm glad you're okay Anna.
I wish I was there to make you a nice big cup of hot chocolate. ;)
Oh poor Anna...but now she has an adventure to brag about.
I think I may have had the same reaction. I won't tell Jake...I am trying to get him to use staplers. If he heard about this it would be all over.
