At the dinner table we were talking about Beth's grave illness and sense that she was preparing to die in Little Women. (The kids are listening to it on tape during car rides.)
Nice! You ever let your kids listen to the Guns-n-Roses version. Brought back memories of high school; listening to music with friends whose parents didn't monitor want they listened to. Good old GNR. Seems like a lot of bands seem to be searching for "something". Too bad most of them never find the answer.
If Emily would ever like to cohost my blog,I would be happy to have her. In fact, can I just have a direct link to the Emily Side of Life? That girl cracks me up.

I love it.
Emily,
Aunt Janine wishes she could hang out with you more.

Actually Jordyn didn't write this one. I just forgot to sign in as me instead of of Jordyn.
Joy
I must admit ... I was thinking, "Jordyn? Did you really just refer to your cousins as 'your kids'?"
As for the Guns-n-Roses version ... I really don't care for it. There are far better covers.
As for Guns-n-Roses themselves ... I just wouldn't know. I never got into Guns-n-Roses - except for that one song.
That's great! Max requested "The Sound of Silence" in Sunday School opening time the other day. ONE lady thought it was funny. oops.
