Is It Wicked Not to Care?

Wow. What a song. I looked up the lyrics to make sure I heard it all right. I need to get hold of this song. Have you heard any of their other music?

I'm just going to post them in case anyone wants to read them:

Is it wicked not to care when they say that youre mistaken
Thinking hopes and lots of dreams that arent there?
Is it wicked not to care when youve wasted many hours
Talking endlessly to anyone thats there?

I know the truth awaits me
But still I hesitate because of fear

Skipping tickets making rhymes
Is that all that you believe in?
Wearing rags to make you pretty by design
Rusting armour for effect
Its not fun to watch the rust grow
For it will all be over when youre dead

Counting acts and clutching thoughts
By the river where the moss grows
Over rocks the water running all the time
Is it wicked when you smile even though you feel like crying
Even though you could be sick at any time?

But if there was a sequel
Would you love me as an equal?
Would you love me till Im dead

Instrumental

If there was a sequel would you love me like an equal?
Would you love me till Im dead
And if there was a sequel
Would you love me as an equal?
Would you love me till Im dead
Or is there someone else instead?

This reminds me of highschool...and the highschooler that still remains in all of us.
I've been thinking much about younger days and our departure from them. I am thankful to find myself often saying/realizing that "I don't care" about many things I used to.

You could set a "Belle & Sebastian" station on Pandora. One of their songs comes up maybe once every 5 - 10.

The other one I've heard that I really like is "Black and White Unite"

Great idea. I only wish they had pandora for the car.

I read some of their other lyrics. Great idea.

I'm enjoying Pandora thanks to Jodi.

I posted a better auido and video version. I've been exploring Belle & Sebastian a bit and continue to be impressed in general.
