13-1

Dietrich wrestled his first serious open-tournament this year -- the Prescott Border Battle that draws from a lot of the best teams along the Minnesota-Wisconsin border and lost his first match of the season 4-0.

He wrestled his way back to true second, though, with pins in the first and third rounds of his next two matches.

Only later did we find out that the kid who beat him 4-0 (and it was a close 4-0) won second in the state tournament last year, wrestles every weekend from October - March and has placed at youth nationals!

So great job, Dietrich!

(By the way, the kid who took fourth left early so that's why he's not in the picture.)

Congratulations, Dietrich! We've really enjoyed seeing these posts. Hope you continue so that one of these days we can watch you wrestle.
