Well, it happened.

Our grandchildren will attend school with clones.

And what are you going to do, really? They won't be distinguishable as clones. They will be human persons. There is absolutely no other way to treat them.

Maybe one of my grandchildren will even marry a clone -- knowingly or unknowingly. It's not exactly going to be on the birth certificate.

Man can (and has) learned the workings of God's nature...and has figured out ways of getting his hands into the process like an overeager child.

And yet...God is God. The Creator of all things living.

"A person's a person, no matter...hmm...how would Seuss put THIS one?

But how much there must be that we will never know!

Really? What do think we'll never know? (Scientifically, that is.)

I've heard rumors of this all my life...whispered words as I pass..

Wow. I'd love to sit down over food and wine and talk about this one.

Really? You think we are going to exhaust the findings of science?

@The Six of Us

Well, not all, but I think there is some middle position between that and what you said ... maybe? Thinking about it.

@Amy

That's beautiful! Is that from a poem or something?

I guess that is a good question that I haven't really thought about too much: Is there a possibility that man will someday know all there is to know regarding science...indisputably?

Don't get me wrong, I think many things that are "unimaginable" will be discovered and "found out", but an end to science? Full knowledge of everything macro and micro?

Good question.

And actually, my first point was that we will not exhaust science. I am often amazed at the things I hear scientists at work on.

Still thinking...

hmmmm...

Just how close COULD man get to exhausting scientific knowledge?

Josh and I had a good talk about this. Wish we could sit down all together and talk about this one. Very interesting.

I could envision God doing something similar to the Tower of Babel, with the degree of monkeying around with cloning going on.

I probably don't know enough about it, but is it that they take cells from a living being and create a new person, or are they still combining the 2 ingredients God created for reproducing?

Will be interesting to see what happens!
